Empyrean Education Institute (EEI) was selected to feature on the 7:30pm news bulletin on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) channel on Saturday, 9th of December 2011. The news report highlighted the achievement of EEI’s training programs for students from disadvantaged groups and helping them find a new life. The programs have successfully helped develop the skills and knowledge of localstudents to be job ready in the hospitality industry.

On this date James Ryan, CEO of the Empyrean Group was elected as the Director representing Western Australia, on Australia's national industry association for independent providers of post-compulsory education and training (ACPET).
