About Empyrean Education Institute
Empyrean Education Institute (EEI) is a specialist college in Hospitality and Business courses located in the heart of Northbridge, in Perth, Western Australia. EEI creates training and employment opportunities for both Australian and International Students. Developed under the Empyrean Group which also features a performance arts theatre and function centre in the premise, Empyrean Education Institute was born in response to the high demand for trained hospitality staff especially in the bustling commercial precinct of Northbridge.
Since its operations, EEI has won the Australian Business Award in 2010 and 2011 for two years running, in recognition of its contribution to the community and for excellence in training for both domestic and international students in Western Australia. Students who have successfully completed a Diploma in Hospitality at Empyrean. Students may be eligible for advanced standing of up to four units on undergraduate degrees.

Facilities
Empyrean Education Institute
Empyrean has many facilities on campus such as classrooms, a simulated restaurant area, a student common room, and a computer lab with free internet access. Onsite is the Empyrean Function centre, running daily events and functions offering hospitality students with work experience opportunities. The Bar and Café onsite is also used for hospitality students to practice their newly developed coffee making and customer service skills.
Being centrally located also means that students are able to walk to the State Library (less than 10mins away) offering more resources.

Fremantle Barista
EEI students who are studying a hospitality course at Empyrean will complete 6 weeks of barista training to be deemed competent in the unit SITHFAB009A – Prepare and Serve Espresso Coffee. The training will be conducted at Fremantle Baristas Coffee Training Centre (Unit 35, 27/35 William Street, Fremantle Malls).The environment created by Trainer Olivier Painot is based all around coffee and is a great place to learn all about the history, methods and types of coffees.
